The archives of the vidy theatre

The Vidy Theatre was created fifty years ago by Bauhaus architect Max Bill for the occasion of Expo 64. The archives are found at the Vidy Theatre, the Archives de la Ville, as well as at the Musée Historique.

Past shows

Past seasons can be consulted on line. We are working on integrating older seasons. It is also possible to:

- conduct research at  the Archives de la Ville (more information)
- consult our video archives
- tour of Expo 1964 

Graphic design

Werner Jeker was the theatre’s graphic designer from 1991 to 2014. His collection is accessible on the website of the Musée Historique de Lausanne.

René Walker, from the Wapico agency , is the Vidy Theatre’s current graphic designer.
