The latter have invited the two musicians to share their musical lives, alongside a top-notch sound system.

We met Miro Caltagirone and Napoleon Maddox, the singer of Puts Marie,during our previous creations. One was born in Switzerland, and is originally from Sicily. The other is from the United States. On the face of it, they come from totally different worlds and cultures, but they come together completely in the field of music, which constitutes their common language. With them, we would like to look at their history, how they became musicians and singers, what links they have established with the history of music and with their audiences. We want to understand what makes a person a singer or not, and what this means in everyday life and on stage.

We want to work with these two artists, each of whom is well established in their own musical field – Miro with Puts Marie, and Napoleon with his collaborative projects – on the richness, diversity and singularity of their careers.

We are interested in working with them on a very musical project that tells us how, by listening to their stories, we can all find ourselves and achieve some of our dreams: how many evenings we have spent listening to music, sharing it, and talking about it. We would like to give an extremely simple form to the project, which will put the physical presence of the two musicians and a good sound system at the centre of the show. We will build a back and forth between words, recorded music and live performance that will enable the audience to experience a unique moment of music and sharing, through stories and anecdotes: thus attending a jam, as close as possible to the performers, as if they were in the recording studio.
